The objectives of WP 2 are to develop and provide to WP 3 – 4 efficient models, methods and algorithms for gradient based fatigue life optimization for both conceptual and preliminary design of offshore wind turbine support structures. The models are based on the modeling of wind and marine loads and soil structure interaction from WP 1.
