The objectives of WP 1 are to develop and provide to all WPs a) numerically fast, yet accurate methods for the computation of wind and wave loads and models of seabed sediment conditions and soil-structure interaction. The models are tailored for application in optimal design, b) an extensive set of design loads for existing and future wind turbines and a representative set of soil and environmental parameters for North Sea wind farm locations.
